I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical
Counsellors. I have earned a Masters of Education in Counselling
Psychology degree from the University of Victoria. I have also completed
a three year Somatic Experiencing Practitioner training and a two year Touch Work for Psychotherapists training with the Foundation for Human Enrichment.
I have trained with the VIHA - USTAT team and completed
courses and workshops in Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Addictions, Mental Health Issues, Possibilities
Therapy and studied Emotion Focused Therapy.
Perhaps most importantly, and fundamental to my work is the realization of my true nature through participation in extensive personal counselling, assisting at several Somatic Experiencing trainings, and participation in several intensive retreats.
I believe each person has unique qualities and strengths that provide
core resources to support and sustain them through life. I work with the knowledge that we are intrinsically good and the product and expression of Love. My work
with you will help you to use your existing resources to engage
in the learning, change, and healing you desire.
My fundamental purpose is to guide clients toward an Awakened or Enlightened state. From my true nature of Love and Compassion I will support you while gently and skillfully guiding you to your true nature and natural state of being.
I live in North Saanich with my partner of twenty-four years
and mother our two sons.
